What I learned:
A Jersey for Helmutt! gave me the opportunity to work on a small team with a firm deadline. This project required us to churn out an entire, playable game, within a few months, and helped enforce the importance of consistent communication. Daily standups allowed for us to elaborate on our progress, as well as where assistance was needed, allowing for our producer to re-allocate work as necessary. Additionally, this was my first time as an art lead, which gave me much needed insight into the art production pipeline, as well as how to best mentor those with less experience.
